Welcome to The Christina Lake Business Directory (the “Directory”), provided by the Christina Gateway Community Development Association (“CGCDA”). These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Directory and any services offered through it. By accessing or using the Directory, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the Directory.

1. Directory Services

1.1. The Directory provides a platform for businesses to list their services, contact information, and other relevant details for public viewing.

1.2. Users may access the Directory to search for businesses based on various criteria such as industry, or season.

1.3. The Directory may also serve as a repository for emergency preparedness contacts in the Christina Lake community.

2. User Responsibilities

2.1. Users are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information they provide when listing their businesses on the Directory.

2.2. Users must ensure that they have the necessary rights to publish any content they submit to the Directory, including but not limited to logos, images, and business descriptions.

2.3. Users agree not to engage in any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities when using the Directory.

3. Privacy Policy

3.1. The Directory collects and processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. By using the Directory, you consent to such processing and agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.

4. Intellectual Property

4.1. All content and materials provided on the Directory, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and images, are owned by or licensed to the CGCDA and are protected by intellectual property laws.

4.2. Users may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or otherwise use any content from the Directory without the prior written consent of the CGCDA.

5. Limitation of Liability

5.1. The Directory is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the CGCDA disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

5.2. In no event shall the CGCDA be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Directory.

6. Termination

6.1. The CGCDA reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Directory at any time for any reason, without notice.

6.2. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Directory and delete any content or materials obtained from it.

7. Changes to Terms

7.1. The CGCDA reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. By continuing to use the Directory after such changes, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law

8.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the  municipal, provincial and federal laws of Christina Lake, British Colombia, Canada without regard to its conflict of law principles.
