Gateway refreshes Senior Rental Housing Report

This report is a refreshed summary of the key findings and context first documented through Christina Gateway’s 2015 seniors housing needs work.

It brings that earlier local baseline forward by incorporating updated regional housing information and current planning context, including the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary’s Interim Housing Needs Report (March 2025) and Age-Friendly planning resources.

The purpose is to provide a clear, up-to-date overview for readers and potential partners, while recognizing that detailed project decisions still require site- and market-specific feasibility work.
