Help Shape Tourism at Christina Lake
Tourism is an important part of Christina Lake’s economy and community. To support practical, well-informed tourism planning, the Christina Gateway Community Development Association is seeking expressions of interest from people who may wish to contribute to its Tourism Advisory Committee.
Guided by our 2026-2029 Strategic Plan, the committee provides highlevel advice on visitor services, destination development and tourism priorities.
We already have strong representation in several areas and are now looking to fill specific gaps in:
- Business and visitor-facing services
- Events and festivals
- Photography and visual storytelling
- Local history and storytelling
- Trails, outdoor recreation and sport
Committee members must have a meaningful connection to tourism in the Christina Lake region, be able to consider the interests of the broader community and be prepared to participate actively. The committee generally meets monthly, with a minimum of eight meetings each year.
Not every contribution requires formal committee membership. We are also interested in connecting with guest advisors, subject-matter contacts and occasional presenters who can contribute specialized knowledge when relevant.
If you have experience in one of these areas and are interested in helping strengthen tourism at Christina Lake, please send us a message.
Tell us a little about your connection to the community, the perspective you would bring and whether you are interested in committee membership or contributing in another capacity.
