Christina Lake Tourism is a registered non-profit Society and is a Director Member of Gateway.

Christina Lake has a unique and established tourism sector/industry focusing on exploring all the wonderful outdoor activities our local area has to offer. With extensive biking, hiking and snow shoeing trails, wonderful water access bordered by sandy beaches for swimming, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding, and the fully developed pickleball and tennis courts as well as a well-kept ball diamond, Christina Lake is sure to keep anyone busy throughout all our full four seasons.

Whether you are a local, or just passing through, stop by our local Tourism Desk in the beautiful Welcome Centre for any kind of guidance or advice for what adventure to take on next.

Christina Lake Advisory Planning Commission

Appointed by RDKB Area Director, this Commission meets monthly to consider land use, zoning, and development variance applications; The Advisory Planning Commission has graciously allowed Economic Development Staff from Gateway to sit in on these meetings on an informational basis. Christina Lake Parks and Recreation Commission

Appointed by RDKB Area Director, this Commission meets monthly to plan the development and maintenance of recreational infrastructure and programs for Area C/ Christina Lake.

BC Parks

Gateway liaises with BC Parks Ministry and supervisors with respect to local provincial parks. Gateway holds a 10 year Park Use Permit for the Christina Lake Provincial Park to hold our annual summer festival “Homecoming”.
