Submit an Event

Our Community Events Calendar lists events in Christina Lake, and events open to Christina Lake residents occurring throughout the Boundary.

You can submit an event using the “Submit Event” button. Submissions will be screened by our internal administrator. You may be contacted if we require more information about your event before we post it.

If you need to change, postpone or cancel your event after it’s been submitted, or if you need help or have any questions, please contact us at: info@christinagateway.ca

We reserve the right to approve all event postings. Generally, we restrict entries to non-profit / community events that are located in the Boundary. We will make exceptions if we judge them to be relevant to the community we serve. If an event is missing from the calendar, please contact the event organizer and encourage them to submit their event through the calendar at christinagateway.ca.

TERMS OF SUBMISSION
By submitting an event to our community calendar, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Accurate Information:
You affirm that all information provided in the event submission form is accurate and complete to the best of your knowledge.
 
Event Eligibility:
Events submitted should align with the community calendar's purpose. Inappropriate or unrelated content may be rejected.

Responsibility:
You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the event information provided, including details, dates, and any accompanying media.

Moderation:
All submissions are subject to moderation. The administrators reserve the right to review, edit, or reject any event submission at their discretion.

Approval Process:
Event submissions are typically reviewed within 48 hours. If there is a concern over your event, the event organizer will be contacted.

Public Display:
Approved events will be displayed publicly on the community calendar, accessible to users both within and outside the community.

Media Usage:
By submitting an event, you grant us the right to use any provided media (images, logos, etc.) for the purpose of promoting the event and the community calendar.

Updates and Changes:
You are responsible for notifying us of any changes or updates to the event information after submission.

Removal of Events:
We reserve the right to remove any event from the community calendar at any time, without prior notice, if deemed necessary by the administrator.

Compliance with Laws:
Event submissions must comply with all applicable local, provincial, and federal laws.

User Conduct:
Users submitting events are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner. Any misuse or abuse of the submission platform may result in the removal of the event and possible banning of the user.
