Supporting Access to Medical Services

Christina Gateway is contributing funds toward the City of Grand Forks’ commitment to support the Boundary Medical Clinic.

Boundary Medical Clinic supports access to doctors, and contributes to emergency services at Boundary Regional Hospital. Supporting the clinic helps keep more health care options available in the region.

That benefits Christina Lake residents, local workers, families, seniors, and anyone who needs access to care.

Access to medical care is deeply connected to community economic well being. People are more likely to live, work, stay, and invest in communities
where basic services are available.

This investment helps support:

  • More options for care within the Boundary.
  • A stronger quality of life for residents and families.
  • A more livable community for people choosing where to settle.
  • A stronger local workforce by supporting services workers and families need.

Rural health care is not simple, but this is one practical way to help keep services available for people in Christina Lake and across the Boundary.

Christina Gateway’s Meet the Candidates

Christina Gateway’s role is to provide opportunities for
residents to connect, access reliable information, and
participate in conversations that affect our community. In
keeping with this role, we are pleased to host an all-candidates
meeting for Area C: Christina Lake. This non-partisan event will give residents an opportunity to hear directly from the candidates, learn where they stand on matters important to Christina Lake, and make an informed decision before election day.
