Christina Lake Arts and Artisans Society offers a flourishing arts community with a local artisan gallery, “Arts on 3” located at the Christina Lake Welcome Centre, workshops, live music and artist performances that will sure to please.

Festivals, pickleball and golf and tournaments, our famous “Spaghetti Dinner Feed” and getting involved with as much or as little as you care to as one of the many volunteers who help us run this little place we call home and makes what we think is the most vibrant place on earth.

On June 20, 2019 Christina Gateway Community Development Association (“Gateway”) announced the approval from the Canadian Intellectual Property Office for Christina Lake’s trademark designation of Pickleball Capital of Canada.

Cascade Par 3

A magnificent 9-hole course designed to challenge any golfer.

With sheltering hills all around, this course has tranquility that draws residents and tourists alike. It is a well-maintained public course that boasts large greens, testing elevation changes, strategically placed water hazards, and bunkers. A place where golfers of all levels of ability are made to feel welcome. A perfect place to learn the game, improve your skills, or simply enjoy a round of golf.

Christina Lake Golf Course

An 18-Hole course and the first course in Canada to offer the unique feature of black sand traps.

The Christina Lake Golf Course is regarded as one of the top 25 in British Columbia. Designed by renowned architect Les Furber the course features large undulating greens, elevated trees and an abundance of strategically placed black sand bunkers and water hazards, that along with the front nine all add to an exceptional and diverse golf experience. Situated on a plateau surrounded by the Kettle River with an abundance of wildlife and natural pine forest, the eighteen holes is an absolute golfers paradise.

Trails Galore

Over 216 kilometers in fact!

At Christina Lake you will find a great network of trails for every level of rider or hiker. Explore the outdoors on our extensive trails system of over 30 public access trails.

Whether you like a leisurely stroll by a meandering creek or a steep descent down technical trails, we have it all. Christina Lake is home to one of the finest sections of the Trans Canada Trail, the Kettle Valley Railbed, with two freshly decked trestles (one of the longest on the CPR) and the longest tunnel (over 1 km long!) on the KVR. 

Much of the surface has been renewed between Christina Lake and Grand Forks, making this riverside trip through the new Gilpin Grasslands Provincial Park easy and thoroughly enjoyable for families and friends. 

Of course the Cascade Gorge section is unrivaled anywhere on the KVR and must be seen to appreciate the majesty of the Cascade Falls. Hiking can be scenic and leisurely in the Community Nature Park right by the Lake, or rugged and challenging to the top of nearby Old Glory or Gladstone Mountain. 

There are easily accessed trails throughout the district, offering everything from a short after dinner walk to excellent day hikes and overnight trips.
