The Agriculture and Water Initiative Working Group of the Kettle River Watershed Advisory Council invites you to a workshop for agricultural producers in collaboration with the ministry of Agriculture and Food and the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS). Presenters include:
(1) Chris Ford (Ford Water Solutions Inc): Lessons learned developing community led water management plans with producers in BC dealing with chronic drought issues
(2) Andrew Bennett (Living Lands Agroecology): On-farm water storage options and consideration, calculating water needs with real farm examples.
(3) Calvin Beebe (WLRS): Water storage licensing and regulations.
